National Institute of Technology Meghalaya (NIT Meghalaya) is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology which are being setup by the Government of India. NIT Meghalaya, that aims to focus on offering quality education to its students, is located at Shillong, in the state of Meghalaya.

NIT Meghalaya Placements 2024
NIT Meghalaya has also been consistently improving in the recent years. In the current year 2022-23, more than 200 students have got placed in the various companies. The recruiters that posted their job openings were Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, L&T Infotech, Bosch Engineering, etc. The maximum package offered for placements in reputed firms was 27.5 LPA from Microsoft. The annual salary package offered was approximately 8 LPA. Majority of the students got placed in IT service and product based companies, out of the 60 percent students. Some of the jobs that were available were core engineering and management positions in companies Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank and Decathlon.
