Established in 2015, the National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT-AP) in Tadepalligudem attests BTech programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering with a minimum of a 12th class pass in science stream with not less than 60% marks. It also proffers MTech and PhD in various fields of study. The tests accepted are JEE Mains, JEE Advanced and GATE along with other national level entrance tests.
NIT-AP teaches BTech, MTech, and PhD with streams like Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil and even more. Thus for the exam detail of the year 2024, the JEE Mains exam is in the month of January and the JEE Advanced exam is conducted in April/ May. GATE 2024 examination is scheduled for February 2024. Admissions criterion involves passing in their respective examination, counselling and finally the seat allocation. Counselling is conducted according to the merit obtained in the entrance examination on a national level.
