National Institute of Technology, Nagaland is also known as NIT Nagaland or NIT Dimapur which is situated in Dimapur and offering a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the field of Engineering, Science, and Humanities streams. The major branches of engineering are Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering and Civil Engineering. The minimum qualification to be eligible for applying for BTech programme is to clear 12th standard with at least 75% PCM marks (65% for SC/ST) in any of the boards including CBSE/State. Admission is based on JEE Main scores, KEAM etc. For MTech program, candidate must possess B.Tech/B.E qualification and valid GATE scores. Science branches include Physics, Chemistry and Maths which have the same eligibility criteria of minimum 60% PCM marks (55% for SC/ST) in 12th examinations.
The admission procedure to NIT Nagaland is online as well as offline for students who wish to enroll in this institute. For the online application, the candidate must go to the official website of NIT Nagaland which is nitnadinand.ac.in and navigate to the ‘Admissions’ section. To register for the admission process, students have to sign up for an account and complete the application form through which they have to enter their personal details including personal information, academic scores, program of choice etc. Students also have to upload scanned copies of documents which are photograph, signature, class 10 & 12 mark sheets, Category Certificate if any. Application fees can be remitted by using a credit/debit card or through net banking.
