National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is one of the most prestigious university which is an autonomous university and focuses on providing law education in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It was set up in 1986 and is the first National Law University in the country, which is dedicated to the purpose of imparting legal education only. National Law School of India University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For admission to LLM and other master’s programme, one must have passed bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum 45-50% marks in the qualifying examinations conducted by any university.
2. For the PhD programs, the candidates are needed to have a Masters degree in law with minimum 55% of marks or an equivalent degree is necessary and those who qualify the NET/SLET exams.
3. The 5-year integrated program of BA LLB has eligibility criteria where the candidate must qualify 10+2 or equivalent examination with around 45%-50% marks.
4. The basic eligibility for LLB 3-year program, the candidate must have passed any graduation with minimum 45-50% marks from any known university.
5. For admission to diploma programs one must hold a certificate of 10+2 pass and minimum 45% average marks.
6. Other essential requirements include the foreign nationals must meet equivalent qualifying requirements as required by their countries and as acknowledged by the Association of Indian Universities.
