National Law University located in Assam, India, and is an autonomous institution which was established in the year 2010. It is accredited and recognized by University Grant Commission and Bar Council of India. A recent NAAC grading has given the university an ‘A’ rating. Based on the NIRF ranking system of the year 2023, it stands twenty-second in law universities in India.
The university teaches and awards degrees in the area of law including five years integrated course in B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), One year L.L.M program with specialization in areas like Corporate and Commercial Laws, Constitutional and Administrative Laws. The admission to the undergraduate course is on the basis of National level Common Law Admission test while for the postgraduate course, the admission is based on either the university entrance examination or merit.

1. For 5-year integrated BA LLB program, the candidate should be passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. Age limit is 20 years as from the time of recording the video.
2. For LLM program, LLB degree is necessary for admission in the university with minimum marks of 50%. Finally, applicants should know that there is no upper limit age limit regarding the position.
3. For PhD program, minimum 55% in LLM is needed For PhD program, 55% in LLM is needed. Research proposal also has to be prepared and sent to the head of the department.
4. For diploma courses, it is mandatory to pass the graduation degree in any stream with a minimum of 45% mark.
5. They must be a judicial officer who has been selected by the concerned High Court for Judicial officers training.
6. Continuing legal education programs are eligible for graduates in law. Practicing lawyers preferred.

The premier organizations like ICICI, HDFC Bank, the Aditya Birla Group also offer human resource for legal and managerial positions at an average emoluments of INR 10-14 lakhs per annum. The maximum package offered in the year 2023 was INR 32 lakhs per annum in AZB & Partners.
