NIILM University Kaithal provides courses in Management, Computer Applications, Commerce, Arts, Science, Education, Engineering and Law stream at the Under Graduate as well as Post Graduate level. They offer a range of programs such as BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc, B.Ed, B.Tech, and LLB. The conditions for the award of grants differ from one department to another – For BBA/BCA/B.Com 10+2 pass in any stream with 50% marks is necessary, BA requires 10+2 with 50% marks in arts stream, B.Sc requires 10+2 with 50% marks in science stream, B.Ed requires graduation, B.Tech requires 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics with 55% marks, LLB requires graduation. The accepted qualifying examination are CBSE, ISC or the equivalent state board examinations.

The NIILM University Kaithal fulfills its aim of providing quality education through offering a number of undergraduate programs across disciplines. For admissions to the BTech program in the College of Engineering, the college accepts scores from JEE Main, NIILM-JET or 10+2 level. Physics, chemistry and Mathematics should have been studied by students in their 10+2 for them to qualify. The mentioned BBA program in the syllabus of the School of Commerce and Management takes 10+2 scores in any stream for admission. The BSc programs in sciences offered by the School of Basic Sciences has an admission criteria where 10+2 score of the relevant subjects are accepted. As a primer for BCom, one needs to pass 10+2 in commerce stream. BA programmes offered under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences offer admission with 10+2 pass in any stream. For admission in BDes conducted by the School of Architecture, Mathematics is required as one of the 10+2 subjects along with creativity test. The university provides UG courses in different fields of engineering, architecture, management, commerce, arts, etc.
The NIILM University Kaithal provides Ph.D. programs in different departments like Management, Computer Application, Commerce, Economics, Education, Engineering, English, Mathematic, and Physical Education etc. PhD admission demands at least 55% marks in the Master degree in the same discipline as the candidates are interested. As for admission standards, it is pertinent to only departments of which the UGC NET is accepted – Management, Computer Applications, Commerce, Economics, Education, English, Mathematics and Physical Education departments. GATE score holds relevant for Engineering department while CBSET for Education department.
