NITW is a National Institute of Technology situated in Warangal, Telangana which is one of the premier Engineering and Research Institute. The NAAC has graded the institute in the highest category of A++ with 3.71 scores out of 4 strengthening the institute’s academic credibility. NITW provides B.Tech., B.Arch, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Phil, MBA and MCA degrees in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil Engineering and other branches of Science, Management, Humanities. UG Admissions are through the JEE Mains exam and for MTech and MS program, there are options for GATE qualified candidates to directly apply. Some important dates for JEE Mains 2024 include: 1st attempt - January 2024 2nd attempt - April 2024. They include online registration, writing an entrance test, counseling, and joining after the seat is being assigned to you.
NITW has always preserved a very good placement record, the companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm etc have offered placement at reasonable salary packages. The average, highest and median of the salary of the placed students in the academic batch of 2022-23 for placement were Rs. 11.5 lakh per annum, 45.6 LPA and 10 LPA. More than 92% of candidates have been placed in reputed firms from all the eligible students. Core Engineering, IT/Software, Analytics/Consulting, Finance/Insurance and Semiconductor and Microprocessor Chip Design.
