Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences is the prestigious medical university situated in Rohtak town of Haryana. The institution was founded in 2008 and is approved by the Medical Council of India and the World Health Organization. The university has got accreditation grade ‘A’ of NAAC and is ranked 65 among the medical colleges in India as per the NIRF 2023. Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, chemistry, Biology and English as optional subject according to the board from any recognized board of the country with 50% marks for general and 40%marks for SC/ST candidates.
2. For BDS program, candidates must have passed Neet ug Examination. The candidate must have completed 17 years of age or will complete his / her 17 years as on 31st December of admission year. Maximum age 25 years.
3. For nursing programs, a candidate must be at least 17 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is a requirement for candidates to be medically fit.
4. For all paramedical programs like Pharmacy, the candidates should have passed 10 plus 2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and either Biology or Mathematics subjects. The applicants should not be below the age of seventeen years on 31st December in the year of admission.
5. Students currently enrolled in their final year of 10+2 examinations can also apply for admission provisionally until the last date for application submission.
6. NRI/PIO candidates should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent with the marks obtained in Physics chemistry and Biology should not be less than 50% of aggregate. The maximum age limit for such candidates is considered to be 25 years.
