Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University is a state university and a public university situated in the city of Sikar in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The university was established in 1987, and it was recently accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with a B grade. 1. For admission into any undergraduate programs, the candidates should produce the certificate of 10+2 or equivalent passed from any recognized board with pass marks as per the course selection.

2. For postgraduate programs, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the related field of the program for which they are applying with the minimum percentages differing as per the program. 

3. For admission to MPhil and PhD courses, the candidates should have passed post graduation in the particular subject with not less than 55% marks and should have qualified in the entrance examination as well as interview. 

4. For diploma & certification the courses provided by the university the aspirant must be 10+2 passed whereas for some programs the eligibility criteria is the passed graduation degree. 

5. Government norms are also related to the reservation in the seats and more relaxation in the eligibility criteria are provided for candidates from the reserved categories. 

6. For the application of other programs like BEd, LLB etc one must check certain other requirements that are set as per the universities norms.

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University (PDU University) was established in 2010 as a teaching cum affiliating University running under the Rajasthan University Act 2010, providing Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral programs in faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Law and Computer Applications. The university has more than 60 postgraduate programs and also similar to the number of undergraduate programs.
