Pandit S. N. Shukla University in Shahdol includes several courses at Undergraduate and postgraduate level Science, Commerce, arts, Law, Education etc. for different department it has different eligibility condition. Candidates seeking admission in B.Sc must pass 12th standard with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB/PCM. For B.Com, the 12th passed candidates with minimum 45% marks in any group. For getting admission in BA in subjects like Economics, Sociology, English one needs to be a 12th pass and must have minimum of 40% aggregates in any stream. For BCA passing 12th standard with minimum 50% of marks in any stream with Mathematics as one of the subject is required. For B.El.Ed, candidates have to be graduate in any stream with minimum 50% marks and for B.Ed candidates have to pass in 12th standard. LL.B course does not have any specific restrictions when it comes to graduates from any particular stream and a minimum passing percentage of 45% is required. All the above stated undergraduate courses require qualifying exams like MP Board, CBSE, ICSE for entry into the university.

It also provides several post-graduate courses offered across different fields in the university. The PG courses that are been offered include M.Sc in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, M.Com, MA in English, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, History. For these courses, graduates in the relevant disciplines with minimum marks of 45-50% depending on the subjects are admitted. Some of the dates for the PG entrance tests in the university have been released as follows. This is with reference to M.Sc entrance test which will be conducted on 5th June 2024. MA and M.Com entrance tests are on the 10th of June in the year 2024. Online registration for PG courses will begin from March 1, 2024 on the official website for admissions to this university.
