Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology University located in Thanjavur provides numerous courses at the under-graduate and post-graduate level in Engineering, Sciences, Arts & Humanities, and Management streams. Computer Science and Engineering department offers a BTech in CSE and eligibility for the course is a minimum of 50% in 12th PCM or PCB. Permitted tests are the state board exam, CBSE exam, ICSE exam and NIOS exam. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department of the college offers a BTech in EEE where students should have passed the 12th exams with at least 45% marks in the PCM stream including state, CBSE, ICSE boards. The Electronics and Communication Engineering department provides a BTech in ECE that selects students with a passing minimum of 40% PCM subjects in class 12th conducted through state board, CBSE, ICSE.
