PRIST University is a private university in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu state in India. PRIST University was established in the 1985 and is accredited to the UGC and gets its recognition from the AICTE. It has also been accredited and the current accreditation status from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of the university is B++. According to the NIRF Rankings 2023 which has recently been announced, PRIST University has been placed in the rank ranging from 151 to 200 amongst the universities across the country.
Available faculties include engineering, sciences, humanities, law and management where the university provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees. Semester examinations are held in the university in November and May each year. PRIST offers various programs which include the BTech, MTech, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, BSc, and MSc programs in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mechanical Engineering and other disciplines.
