Radha Govind University (RGU) is a private university founded in 2018 in Ramgarh district, Jharkhand. It is UGC recognized university established in the year 2016 under The Government of Jharkhand act. The university has received accreditation NAAC grade ‘A’ in the year 2022. The NIRF Ranking 2023 of RGU place it at 151 among the Universities in the India.
With students pursuing conventional and off-stream courses, it provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral training in fields comprising engineering, management, commerce, science, arts, law, education, agriculture, and more. These are some of the courses offered at RGU which include; BTech, MBA, BSc, BA, BCom, LLB, BEd, and BBA. The university operates under the semester system and its examinations are done at the end of the semesters, which are usually in December and June. If a student wants to get admission to the 2024 batch, then the uni will start the registration process in April 2023. There is a likelihood of having to take national level tests such as JEE Main, CAT, CLAT, GATE, etc, RGU CET and interview.

Radha Govind University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For entry into the under graduate programs such as BA, BSc, BCom etc one has to clear 12th standard with minimum 50 percent marks in the respective stream from a recognized board.
2. It is mandatory to possess a bachelor degree in relevant field from any recognized university with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for seeking admission in postgraduate programs like MA, MSc, MCom etc.
3. For the admission in diploma programs a candidate should passed 10th standart from any recognized board. For some degree and diploma courses, 12th pass is also considered eligible for the programs.
4. In order to apply for PhD in English admission, candidate must possess Master’s Degree in English or related field with minimum 55% marks and have cleared NET/SET Exam. It is also open to those possessing an MPhil degree.
5. It is also clear that in all the programs, those candidates who have qualified GATE/CAT will be given preference in admission.
6. The reservation policy will be implemented according to the government policy in respect of SC, ST, OBC, PWD category candidates for admission. There will be a relaxation in cut-off as per norms for certain categories of students.

Radha Govind University since several companies visit the university each year to offer employment to students. In the current year of 2022, more than seventy five percentage students have been placed in different sectors. The highest salary package goes to 18,000 rupees per annum from Microsoft company. The median salary that the companies were offering was approximately Rs 6 lakhs per annum. This year the recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, Tcs, Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, L&T Infotech for students of Engineering, Management and Computer Applications.
