Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Theatre, and more. It has been seen that the eligibility criteria is different for different departments. For BPA in Music, the candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent examination in any group with 50% or above. For BPA in Dance, the candidates should have cleared 12th or any equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized board. Candidates willing to take admission in the Bachelor of Visual Arts have to pass the 12th examination with 50% marks in a recognized board. The university takes accreditation examinations like CBSE, CISCE, NIOS. All programs require that candidates must pass the university entrance examination and then face the interview process.
Undergraduate, Post graduate and Doctorate courses are available in faculties such as Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Theatre, Instrumental music and many more. The streams are as follows; Vocal Music, Choreography, Painting, Graphics and Sculpture, Drama and Theatre Arts among others.

The online application process is comparatively easier and can be done through the university official website at rmtuniversity.ac.in. The students have to first create an account with them by submitting some of their necessary information. They can log into the admission portal and complete the application form where they are supposed to input details such as personal details, academic achievements, uploading documents among other things. The application fees can be remitted through credit/debit card, net banking etc.

Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University in Gwalior has several programs offered at the undergraduate level in various departments. A Bachelor of Arts is provided by faculties such as Drawing and Painting, Applied Art, Sculpture, Graphics and Printmaking, among others. Admission to these UG programs is done after the 12th exams with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized board. CUET, RMTMAU’s own test scores, previous academic performance and interview are considered valid for entrance exams.
This program has specialisations in Dance (Kathak/ Bharatnatyam), Vocal Music, Sitar, Tabla, Flute etc. Prospective students should have passed 12th standard examination with subjects related to the specialization area. CUET, past academic achievements, and entrance test conducted by RMTMAU are only accepted qualifying exams. Admission is also given based on practical test and personal interview.
It provides a number of three year undergraduate degree courses in Subject Areas such as Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Applied Arts, Performing Arts and General Academics. The students can select from the options such as BA, BPA, BFA, BVA, BPES and BCom in the relevant fields of interest.
