Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) RK Valley Idupulapaya Campus situated at kadapa, Andhra Pradesh provides many options in different departments and faculties. The CSE department provides an integrated program of 6 years of BTech in Computer Science Engineering where they need to qualify their 10th standard with minimum CGPA 8.0 from any known board. Students are also admitted through RGUKT CET which is the common entrance test conducted for admissions in the university. The ECE department offers a degree of BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering to those students who have qualified 10+2 from a recognized board securing minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM. The general requirement for admission to a course in Mechanical Engineering is passing in the 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in PCM aggregates from any recognized board of the state or nation. For the integrated dual degree BTech-MS programs in CSE and ECE stream, aspirants should have passed 8.0 CGPA in 10th standard from any recognized board to take admission to RGUKT Idupulapaya.
The fresh batch for admission to RGUKT RK Valley for the academic year 2024 will be available in May 2023. All such interested students may apply for RGUKT Common Entrance Test to be conducted on 1st July 2023. Tentatively the results of third phase counselling will be declared on 15thJuly and the rest steps like document verification , orientation etc can be completed here and third phase of counselling is expected to be over by the end of July. The admissions for the fresh academic session will be available for 6 years integrated BTech in CSE, ECE and IT and 5 years integrated MTech from different specialties under CSE, mechanical civil EEE and ECE departments. It may be important to note that the eligibility of a person in applying for scholarship depends on the particular program that is being taken. All the above posts will be filled strictly based on merit depending on CET ranks, social category, if any, and the department preferred by the aspirant during the counseling session.
Documents Required for Admission in RGUKT Kadapa for Different Courses:
1. Entrance Test Performance- Any aspirant who wants to join the university has to sit and pass a written examination organized by the university. Performance in this test is of high importance and its weightage is given a lot of attention.
2. Qualifying Degree Marks- It is mandatory to have a minimum of 55% of marks in the final degree or equivalent CGPA for the relevant postgraduate degree. Some concessions that may be offered to the reserved category candidates are that they may be allowed to relax.
3. Performance in Interview- The candidates who have been selected as per their written test and academic performance will undergo an interview in front of a selection board. Contestants’ subject mastery and research ability is assessed.
4. Research Proposal- In the selection stage the candidate is expected to present a preliminary research proposal in the area of interest for the PhD programme. This paper examines the feasibility of the approach and the novelty of the method.
5. Available Specialization- The number of seats in the particular specialization is restricted in some cases. Just like in the case of availability, selection would also depend on requirements in the various departments/centers as well.
6. Reservation Norms- University follows the state government policies regarding reservations in admissions. Roster system is being adopted for the reserved category candidates where it is possible according to the rules.

5. Say the costs of application fee as necessary and enclose the proof/receipt of the payment with the form. The fee can be deposited Online or through Demand Draft/Cash Deposit through NEFT/RTGS or can be deposited through I class or II class challan.
6. All copies of the supporting documents must be affixed to the accomplished application form. It is important to remember that you should attach any specified number of photos.
7. Place the application form accompanied by documents in an envelope and write the name of the course and the department on top before closing and stamps the envelope.
8. The applicant is required to complete and sign the application form along with all the attachments and to submit the application either online or offline depending on the instruction given by the institution within the time limit provided. It is advisable to retain a copy of the application for future reference in case of any circumstances that may require it.
9. After submission, students need to log into the university’s website frequently to check for the entrance test dates or shortlist for interviews and selections etc.

2. Reservation – Like most of the educational institution in the country, selection will be done according to the reservation policy of the Government of Andra Pradesh, where 31% of the seats will be booked for OBC, 15% for SCs, 6% for ST.

6. You can pay the application fee through the payment gateway that is installed within the portal.
7. Please complete and forward the M.Tech application and retain the acknowledgement .
