Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) RK Valley Idupulapaya Campus is one of the premier public university located in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh offering the domain of science, technology and liberal arts education. This university was set up in the year 2008, is UGC approved, and is affiliated to the Government of Andhra Pradesh; it is NAAC ‘A’ accredited. In NIRF rankings of 2023, RGUKT holds the 81st position with the university category in India.
The university provides six-year integrated BTech programmes in this specialisations streams such as CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil and etc. They plan on starting the admission process in May 2023 to help students gain admission for the 2024 academic year. This means that students get admission based on the results they scored in the state Class 10 examination. 1. To be eligible for the jobs the candidates should have cleared 10th standard or equivalent examination with not less than sixty percent marks for general candidates and fifty percent marks in case of SC/ST candidates.
2. For engineering programs, candidate should pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and mathematics /chemistry subjects and secure minimum 60%marks for open category and 50% for SC/ST.
3. For science programs, it is mandatory to have a pass in 10+2 in science stream with minimum 60% aggregate marks (50% in case of reserved categories).
4. Students aspiring for humanities and social science courses should have completed 10+2 in any field with minimum 60% of marks except for SC/ST/OBC candidates where the minimum marks required is 50%.
5. In case of Persons with disability, there is 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria. A disability certificate or a document issued by a competent authority is mandatory in this case.
6. There is upper age limit of twenty years reckoned on 1st July of the year of joining the course. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules for the respective posts.
