Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (RVSKVV) in Gwalior provide various under graduate and post graduate courses in Agril.Science such as Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Horticulture & Forestry, Animal Science & Fisheries Science, Agricultural Economics etc. The admission procedure, accepted exam and reservation policy differs from one department to another. For instance, the BSc Agriculture program mandates that any candidate must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Maths or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks for the open category (45% for the reserved category). B. Candidates who sought admission through entrance tests: ICAR, RVSKVV, & State. It is important to note that to enroll in the MSc Agricultural Economics program, one must have a BSc in Agriculture or any related disciplines. Admission test accepted for admission are ICAR, state level examination or direct admission through merit basis. Program requirements that include reservation norms follow the state policies.
The next admission season is usually in March-April for the next academic year. According to the current schedule, similar situation should occur in the admission process for the year 2024. Tentatively, the entrance examinations have been proposed to be conducted in the month of June 2024.

For online application process, one can access the official website at www.rvskvv.net. To apply for admission online, locate the ‘Admission’ link on the homepage, then click on the ‘Online Application’ link. Choose the program you would like to enroll in, then complete the online application form according to what is stated in the guide. Scan and upload the required documents and pay the application processing fee through internet banking/Debit/Credit Card only.
In this case of offline application, one should go the university administrative office and get the application form and the university prospectus. Accordingly, complete the online registration form with all necessary information and enclose self-attested photocopies of documents as mentioned in the prospectus. Fill this application form and send it with the application fee (which can be paid by DD) through post or directly at the Admin Office on or before the date mentioned.

1. Admission to M.Sc. The process of admission to various programs offered by the university is facilitated through an entrance examination set by RVSKVV. This entrance test is commonly administered in June each year.
2. Aspirants must possess a B.Sc degree in order to be admitted in the entrance examination. minimum qualification for joining the company should be graduation in agriculture or related fields with not less than 50% marks for general category students and 45% for SC/ST students.
3. The entrance test comprises one hundred multiple choice questions drawn from subjects in agriculture, natural science, and an equal measure of general knowledge. It is a terminal test which consists of total 100 questions having 1 mark for each question.
4. On the basis of the successful entrance test, different merit lists are drawn for each category of the various disciplines.
5. The admission in MA/M.Sc program is offered in nine disciplines and the candidates have to apply separately for each discipline of their choice like Agronomy, Entomology, Plant Pathology etc.
6. Counseling is done discipline wise on the basis of merit ranks and the number of positions available. During this process, the candidates are required to pay an admission fee for him/her to secure the admission.
