RK University Rajkot Gujarat for the selections of engineering, business management, computer applications, commerce, arts, & science, & post graduate courses. The above mentioned eligibility criteria are also different for different departments, For engineering programs such as civil, mechanical, computer science., one needs to pass 12th standard with physics, chemistry and maths having minimum 50% aggregate marks. The university accepts students who have completed JEE Mains, GUJCET. For BBA, BA, BCom programs, the candidate should be a 12th passed in any stream with at least 50% marks. Approved tests include GUJCET and SAT.
University provides diverse courses in various fields of study ranging from bachelors to masters degrees such as BTech, MTech, BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, BA, MA, BCom, MCom in faculties like engineering & technology, management & computer studies, humanities & commerce. It also includes the online registration for admission and submitting application through the portal of the university. Selection for UG programs is done based on previous academic records and entrance tests, but for the PG programs, the University conducts written test and interview for the selection.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Any of the identification proofs such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, or passport, is required for the identification of the candidate’s identity and details.
2. Mark sheet of class X from a recognized board must be submitted to determine the age of the candidate as per the norms of UPTET .
3. A compulsory academic document requirement is the passing certificate of a minimum standard education such as class 12 passed from a recognized board to check the candidate’s subjects and their performance in senior secondary examinations.
4. Transfer Certificate proves that the candidate was in a school/college previously and has left the institution or has been transferred to another institution.
5. Such photographs taken within the previous year are used as additional identification during admission and for college affairs after the individual has been admitted.
6. It is necessary if the candidate has passed class 12 from a board other than the one under which admission is sought then the candidate shall attach migration certificate from the education board.
1. Refer to the specific university’s website or the prospectus to check qualification requirements for the preferred course. Make sure that you fulfill the general requirements such as required marks, subjects.
2. By this, the student should ensure that he/she has completed online or offline admission form before the set date. Attach necessary documents.
3. To consolidate your admission, pay the admission fees when your names appear on the merit list. Payments of the fees can either be made online or at designated banks.
4. Bring originals of any attachments within 7 days after admission has been confirmed to finalize the admission process.
5. Go to the university to attend the orientation and collect the timetable. Select courses and subjects for the program according to the academic calendar.
6. If need be, complete the hostel accommodation process for the respective academic year to get a place to stay within the school compound.

1. Checking the formal eligibility criteria such as twelfth standard marks, subjects etc. and preparing documents such as mark sheets, certificates.
2. Obtain the admission form from the internet or from the school and complete it thereof with all the relevant information.
3. A form must be filled with the required information accompanied with relevant documents and it should be submitted with the admission fees before the specified date.
4. After that if your name is short listed you will receive the intimation from the college side regarding your admission.

1. Master’s degree – The candidate should have completed a master’s degree in the concerned subject and minimum of 55% marks is required.
2. Select area of research and adviser - Select a research interest area that falls within the university’s ideal research focus and then find a research supervisor from the RKU faculty.
3. Complete application form - Complete the online application form and pay the fee and other charges as specified within the given period of time. Attach necessary documents.
4. If the subject is applicable the candidate shall be subjected to an entrance written test shall be hold in RKU. Certain disciplines may include direct interviews.
5. Interview – Face interview panel about the proposed research area if shortlisted from the written test and application.
6. Admission – Depending on the outcome of the panel, RKU issues the candidates with a provisional admission letter. Ensure that admission processes are fully completed within the prescribed time.
