Sarala Birla University is a private university for higher learning with its origin from Ranchi, Jharkhand. It was founded in the year 2020, and it is a UGC recognized university and recognized by the Government of Jharkhand. Currently, SJTU has being accredited to grade ‘A’ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2022. Sarala Birla University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Admission requirements: Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized central/ state board with minimum percentage marks ranging from 45-60% as per course.
2. As per the requirement of the course, candidates should have appeared in entrance tests such as JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT for MTech, MBA, and other relevant courses respectively.
3. Minimum percentage required in graduation varies between 50-60% aggregate from any recognized university for PG courses.
4. Pre-MBA and Pre-EMBA work experience required is 1-5 years of post Graduate or Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
5. Under the lateral entry scheme, direct admissions can be procured by candidates who are qualified in state or national level exams.
6. The state policy regarding the reserved category students also gets reduction in cut-off marks as per the government rule.
Sarala Birla University Placements 2024
Sarala Birla University has a well established placement division that helps the companies in recruiting right students for their organizations. Some of the big companies which come for recruitment session include Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Tech Mahindra and many more. The maximum number of offers were made in the IT sector and the highest offer was made by an IT services company offering a salary package of Rs. 18 lakhs per annum. The mean of the package offered in all branches comes to Rs. 4.2 lakh per annum. More than seventy five percent of students got placed in the last year with the university showing a consistent upward trend in terms of the number of companies visiting the campus as well as the students being offered better salary packages year after year. Having a placement cell, aptitude tests and soft skills are trained to the students by the placement cell for recruitment drives.
