Established in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, Sardar Patel University is one of the prominent universities in India. It is a State university which was founded in 1955. Sardar Patel University has NAAC accreditation and it has received ‘A’ grade from the NAAC, National Assessment and Accreditation Council. In the NIRF rankings 2023 released recently, Sardar Patel University has been placed in the NIRF ranking of 101-150 in the overall universities of India. Sardar Patel University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programmes, age limit is 18 years and above, while for postgraduate programmes there is no specified age requirement.
2. Qualification for UG: 10+2, qualification for PG: Bachelor’s degree. This requirement has a minimum percentage of 45-55% depending on the program with relaxations allowed.
3. Some programs like MBA, LLB among them may have entrance tests that every candidate was compulsory to sit for. Qualifying cut-offs apply.
4. As per the government norms the 15% of seats will be reserved for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, female. Supporting documents needed.
5. These courses as basic subjects prerequisites set for some of the programs. Passing requirements in relevant areas.
6. Other formal requirements such as physical fitness certificate, domicile and many more are set for some courses. Program specific norms.
Sardar Patel University Placements 2024
Sardar Patel University also has an efficient and functional placement cell for the purpose of placement and recruitment of the students by the reputed companies. A few of the companies that visit campus for placements are TATA consultancy services, INFOSYS, WIPRO, RELIANCE, ADANI GROUP, L&T. The maximum number of offer was made in the IT sector at the highest pay package of Rs 18 lakhs per annum in the year 2023. In case of salary package offered for the candidates across all branches, the average salary package stands at Rs 6.2 lakh per annum. About 450 placements are provided to students from different fields such as engineering, management, computer applications, pharmacy, and sciences every year.
