The School of Forensic Science of National Forensic Sciences University Gandhinagar provides various programs in subjects of DNA Forensics, Cyber Security & Digital Forensics, and Criminology & Criminal Justice. The admission requirement to join the MSc Forensic Science program is a BSc degree in science or BTech with at least 60% pass in previous qualifications. The acceptable entrance tests are GAT-B, JAM, and NET. The MSc Cyber Security & Digital Forensics program admission criterion includes minimum 60% marks in bachelor’s degree in computer science/ IT/ related disciplines along with valid GATE score. The requirements to be met by anyone wishing to apply for the MSc Criminology & Criminal Justice include a graduation in any field with 60 percentage. The accepted examinations are DUET, SET, and NET. The university provides full time PG courses like MSc, MPhil and Ph.D. in different streams of forensic science.
National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) Gandhinagar offers the undergraduate and postgraduate program in forensic science under the School of Forensic Science. The National Forensic Sciences University Gandhinagar’s School of Forensic Science provides education in under graduate programs in the various fields of forensic science including forensic biology, forensic chemistry, forensic psychology, forensic accounting and forensic finance. The BSc Forensic Science program offered by the university accepts national level entrance exams such as NEET UG, GUJCET, JEE Main for admission. The BSc Forensic and Legal Psychology program gives consideration to the GUJCET score, as well as the percentage in the 12th standard. The admission requirements of the BSc-MSc Forensic Science and Criminology programs are through 12th percentage. The forensic accounting program carries 12th percentage from commerce background including subjects like accountancy, economics and Mathematics.
The University provides complete time four year under graduate programs across science, psychology, commerce and humanities streams. The main UG programmes include BSc in Forensic Science, Forensic Biology, Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Psychology, Forensic Accounting and finance, BA Economics and Criminology and Security Administration.
The National Forensic Sciences University Gandhinagar Get Integrated M.Sc. Tech & Ph.D. in Forensic Science from the School of Forensic Science in the Field of Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, DNA Fingerprinting, Forensic Chemistry Forensic Psychology etc. As for the minimum requirements for admission to the PhD program, the candidate must possess a Master’s degree in the proposed specialty with at least 55% average score. There are several entrance exams accepted for different departments with the Forensic Psychology program accepting UGC NET, GPAT, CEET while the Digital Forensics accepts GATE, CEET. The Cyber Security PhD accepts GATE, CEET, UGC NET scores. All programs also accept only NFSU entrance exam scores conducted by the university every year in the month of June-July.
University provides an opportunity to get education in full-time and part-time PhD in various streams like Criminology, Applied Psychology, Basic Science, Cyber Security, and Forensic Science.
