The School of Management Studies at National Forensic Sciences University Gandhinagar presents different courses across the Management, Commerce, Economics, etc. The BBA program admits students on the basis of their scores in examination like CAT/MAT/CMAT/GUJCET or on the basis of previous academic results. Integrated MBA program admit students according to their performance in GUJCET/CAT/XAT. For MCom, one requires a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks. The PET exam is used in shortlisting the students to join the MA Economics program. Every one of these programs also mandates the candidate to clear the GD/PI rounds. There are differences in minimum eligibility across various streams.
The School offers full time campus programmes like BBA, Integrated MBA, MCom, MA Economics. It also has part-time and distance learning programs in PG Diploma Business Management, PG Diploma Banking and Finance. Currently, the university is recruiting students for the 2024 intake. Some of the major tests are CAT 2023 on 26 Nov, MAT February 2024 on 16 Feb while GMAT is conducted four times a year. As per our estimation, GUJCET 2024 is likely to be held in last week of March. For admission, one has to apply either online or offline before the last date as mentioned on the University website. Group Discussion and Personal Interview follow the GD round and outcomes of these two rounds decide the final admissions for the shortlisted candidates. The selected students will admit themselves by paying their fees. The admission process in every program includes application, exam, declaration of results, shortlisting, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
The National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar has the School of Management Studies which provides different Post Graduate Management Programs. Applicants are free to apply for admission in both online and offline mode.
To apply online, visit the university’s official website nfsu.ac.in and click on the Admission link provided on the homepage. Find the specific management program of your choice and click on ‘Apply Now’. You will be redirected to the application portal. Register with the site and complete all the necessary information in the registration form of the site. Submit scanned copies of documents, photographs and signatures in accordance with the set dimensions. The last step is the completion of the application fee payment through the online mode. It is advisable to take a print out of the form once completed for future use.
For the offline application process, one is supposed to download the application form from the website. As it should be filled in, the applicant is supposed to enclose copies of such documents as are necessary. Attach the demand draft of the application fee and the completed application form and post it to the university address before the deadline. Candidates are selected through merit scores in qualifying tests such as CAT/CMAT/MAT or the Group Discussion (GD) and Interview (PI) held by the university.

- Selection of candidates is done by performance in research entrance test administered by the university and interview.
- The RET comprises of two papers; the Paper I for evaluating the ability of the candidate in research and teaching and the Paper II for evaluating the subject knowledge of the candidate.
- In the subsequent round of personal interview through video conferencing, the shortlisted candidates have to explain about the research interest/area they wish to pursue.
- The sponsored candidates from the government, semi-government or public sector undertakings are also required to qualify the selection process.
- The final decision is informed by their academic performance, RET and interview, and the pertinence of the proposed research question.
