Shobhit University is an educational institution and is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was set up in 2006, which is approved by UGC and accredited by AICTE. It is an institution affiliated to the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) which has recently awarded Shobhit University an accreditation grade of ‘A’. University provides numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields – engineering, computer applications, biological sciences, agriculture, arts, social sciences, management, law and more through its multi-campus system. Shobhit University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidate should have passed +2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized board and must secured minimum 50% marks in it (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).
2. For the B.Tech programs, the candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the optional subjects.
3. For other UG programs, candidate should have passed 10+2 in respective stream for the program he/she is applying.
4. They do not lock their doors to children at any age and anyone can get admission. Candidates having graduation qualification after 10+2 are eligible as well as experienced candidates working in any organization.
5. Admission will be provided to students clearing entrance exams like JEE Main, and students applying for lateral entry shall also be given preference.
6. Another criterion includes, number of seats in each program, the rules regarding the number of seats to be reserved for certain categories of candidates.
Shobhit University Placements 2024
Shobhit University has an active placement cell that works for the students to get job placements after completing their graduation in different specializations. Some of the big companies that recruit candidates through campus interviews are
TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Tech Mahindra. IT and core engineering firms have provided the highest recruitment, with rates ranging
between 70%-80% for CS and 60-65% for other branches. The top of the line
job offer was by Microsoft and the
offer was at Rs 18000 per annum; the average
offered salary range from Rs 40000-60000 per annum. Other top notch recruiters include Capgemini, Cognizant and HCL which provide an average starting salary of Rs 4 lakh per annum in all the streams ranging from
computer science engineering, electronics & communication , Mechanica engineering biotechnology and MBA.
