SRM University, Sikkim is a private university that is located in the city of Gangtok in the state of Sikkim. It was established in the year 2008 and because of its excellent infrastructure and standard education system, it has become one of the prominent universities in the North-East India. SRM University Sikkim is UGC approved and recognized University as per the government of India. It has a NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) accreditation and has been graded A. In the most recent NIRF University rankings 2023 announced, SRM University Sikkim falls under the band of 101-150 universities in India.
It is a teaching and research institution that has a diversity of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs for various fields including Engineering, Management, Commerce, Arts and Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Medical Sciences and more. Some of the common courses include Business Technology, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelors of Science, Masters of Science, Bachelor of Computer Applications. The intakes for the next year, particularly the September 2024 intake, would be advertised around March April 2023.
