Swami Vivekananda University is a private university in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India. The University Grants Commission has granted its approval, and it is also recognized by the Indian government. Besides this, the university has got accreditation grade ‘A’ in NAAC. In NIRF ranking of the year 2023, its position was 65th among all universities in India.
It has multiple disciplines comprising engineering, management, sciences, arts, education, and law with different undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Some of the known courses include bachelor of technology-BTech, MBA, BSc, BA, BEd, LLB. Masters and other postgraduate admissions are offered in September while the undergraduate admission begins in March every year. There are two seasons for entrance examinations and these are in May and June. The new academic session starts in July of the year.

Swami Vivekananda University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Bachelor of Arts: For class 12, it is expected that the candidate pass with 50% marks in subjects relevant to the options chosen.
2. Bachelor of Science: Clear class 12 board exams with minimum 60% marks in science subjects including: physics, chemistry, biology
3. Bachelor of Commerce: Let class 12 exams be passed and secure at least 60% marks in accounts, business studies and economics
4. Bachelor of Computer Applications: Secure a minimum of 600 marks in the final matriculation examination of class 12 in mathematics and computer science
5. Master of Arts: Possess basic Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of study and must have minimum 50% marks aggregate.
6. Master of Science: Bachelor of science degree in relevant field with minimum 60% cumulative grade point analysis.
7. Master of Commerce: A pass in B.Com with at least 60 % marks in aggregate.
8. Master of Computer Applications: The candidate should be a graduate in computer applications or any other related field and must have secured an aggregate of 60% marks.
