Symbiosis International University (SIU) is a private state university in Pune, India which has begun its Established in 2002. It has has got the branches all over the country and runs the programs in different streams, management, law, engineers, media, humanities and so on. The University of SIU focuses its efforts on teaching self learning, social, and experience based which are intended at personal and professional development of the students. Two well-known programs at SIU that students can apply for are the MBA and Bachelors of Technology (Computer Science Engineering). - Bachelor's Degree Programs:
The students should have obtained a 10+2 certificate or its equivalent from the approved board with at least 50% marks. There are some programs that have requirements for being eligible to join.
- Master's Degree Programs:
Students should, in most cases, have a bachelor degree in a field relevant to their chosen course of study with at least 50% in aggregate. Some courses which include MBA involve CAT/MAT/XAT and other type of screening scores. The job experience requirement could be requested by some programs.
- PhD Programs:
Students should be able to accumulate good Master's degree with 55% as their least mark. Admission according to this entry examination such as SET/NET will be a must for the PhD programs. Some plans may demand a work or research background with other items in the list.
- Lateral Entry Programs:
After having a diploma, students will not need to do first year of the relevant bachelor's degree program again. Applicants are expected to meet the entry criteria, which depend on the UG program and the qualifications earned through the diploma qualifications.
- International Students:
Foreign students will also have to clear academia and admission test and the proficiency of the language which as are applicable as Indian students. In rare instances, the equivalence certificates might be required to be produced as well.

- A large number of universities, both public and private have made it a prerequisite for the aspirants to take university level entrance exams like SITEE (Symbiosis Institute of Technology) or SLAT (Symbiosis Law admissions test).

Selection Process

Scholarly stipends range from 25% to 100% of dependent tuition fees' amount.
