Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) is a state university with its headquarters in Chennai, Tamil Nadu which deals mainly with the fields of veterinary sciences and Animal Husbandry. Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths as optional subjects and must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate for open category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
2. Must be at least 17 years of age on December 31 of the admission year for the UG courses and must have 20 years of age for PG courses.
3. For UG programs, qualification in National Level Entrance Exam also mandatory in some of cases.
4. For PG, should have completed Bachelor’s degree in related fields with required minimum percentage as mentioned earlier.
5. Calculation of age, relaxations in percentage of marks and other rules and regulations of Tamil Nadu government regarding reservation and relaxations.
6. Some other requirements may include medical fitness certificate, domicile certificate etc may also be required for admission.
