Tantia University Sriganganagar is one of the oldest universities that offer numerous undergraduate and postgraduate programs across disciplines of Management, Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Education, Law, etc. The admission requirements may differ according to the departments of the University wherein for the BTech programs such as CSE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, etc students need to pass their 12th with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry with 50% aggregate marks from Medical stream needs a pass of 50 marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology in 12th standard. For BBA a minimum 50% aggregate in any stream in 12th is needed and for MBA, the same is needed for graduation. BCom programme is open to all the 12th standard pass students irrespective of the stream they have passed in with a minimum of 50% aggregate. B.A LL.B. (Integrated Law) Any stream passed in 12th standard with 50% marks is eligible. The only accepted qualifying exams are CBSE, ICSE or State Boards. All programs also consider score of national level entrance tests like JEE Main, CAT, MAT, CLAT etc.
The next session of the Tantia University is 2024-25. From the above prospectus, the admission process is normally done in December 2023. All programs are duly advertised through application forms on the university website. The entrance tests TUET for BTech, BUAT for Agriculture, BULET for Law are usually in May –June 2024. The counselling for admission at university level takes place in July 2024 to assign the programs in accordance to preferences filled and availability of seats. The last date of admission is 31st August 2024 and the minimum qualification is a Bachelor’s degree for admission in any of the programs. Every discipline including sciences, commerce, engineering, humanities, law, etc., have their fresh academic sessions from the 1st week of September 2024.
The admission process for Tantia University Sriganganagar involves both online and offline application process. Regarding the online application process, the candidates wishing to join Tantia University will be required to navigate to the official website of the institution at www.tantiainstitute.edu.in. The next step is to visit the homepage and navigate to the ‘Admissions’ tab and then proceed to the selected course. To apply the online form, all the fields like personal details, academic details, program for which applying, and the documents need to be attached. The final payments are also made online by paying the application fees for the entire assessment.
In case of the offline registration, the candidate has to download the form from the university website or can also collect the same from the admission office of Tantia University, Gandhi Nagar, Sriganganagar. The application form is accompanied by a set of documents, copies of all necessary documents should be attached, the filled in the form and the application fee should be submitted at the admissions counter. It provides admission on the basis of merit and criterion for which these institutions are known such as qualifying examinations/ marks, university level entrance tests for certain courses.
