The West Bengal University Of Teachers’ Training Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA), Kolkata is a state university Concerned with teacher education and training. It was established in 2015 and is affiliated to UGC and has been graded ‘B’ by NAAC. According to NIRF ranking system of 2023, WBUTTEPA has been placed at 76th position among the universities in India. These are B.Ed, M.Ed, integrated B.Ed M.Ed, PhD and diploma programs in teacher training that are offered at the university.
The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate, master’s, MPhil and doctoral programs in fields of education, science, arts, commerce, law, etc. The following is a list of some of the major programs BEd, MEd, BA BEd/BSc BEd, MA Education, MPhil Education, PhD, PG Diplomas and certificate courses in education and special education. Assessment of students to the BEd program is done strictly on merit in the qualifying examination. For MEd and other PG programs, admissions are done according to percentage in the respective qualifying examination and PET.
