Thiruvalluvar University in Vellore, Tamil Nadu provides various undergraduate and postgraduate levels courses in faculties like arts, science, commerce, management sciences, education, law etc. The requirements depend on a department and a program – for the B.A. programs, one must passed at 12th in a relevant stream with the average of at least 50%. B.Sc. programs presuppose the 12th Science background with subjects related to the chosen B.Sc. specialization and minimum 60% PCM scores Specialization means that the candidates have to choose the specific subjects in which they want to specialize themselves in their chosen fields. B.Com program offers admission to candidates with commerce stream at the 12th level of education and minimum 50% marks. M.A., M.Sc.

The minimum qualification for M.B.A and M.Com programs includes a bachelor’s degree in the related field with not less than 50% aggregate marks. The M.B.A. program is open to graduates from any field, with 50% pass average and standard tests, such as the CAT/MAT. The B.Ed program is available to the graduates with 50% marks and B.Ed exam pass for the eligibility. The LLB programs have no restrictions regarding the choice of graduation and only requires 45% aggregate marks and qualification in CLAT exam.

The online application is possible, and the process is relatively easy and fast. To know about the Thiruvalluvar University and the courses provided by them, the candidates must log on to www.thiruvalluvaruniversity.ac.in. When you are on the first page of the website, go to the ‘Admissions’ tab and choose the programme which you wish to apply for. Please go through the sections such as eligibility criteria, fees, dates etc. After that, there is a ‘Click Here to Apply’ link which, when clicked, leads to an application form where one has to fill in his/her details to apply. Submit scanned copies of documents where required as per the specifications of the organization. To pay the application fee please use the credit/debit card, net banking etc.

Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:

• Enter all the required details
• Fill up the application form completely & submit it.
• Candidates will be allotted a user ID & password from the confirmation page.
• The same User ID & Password will be sent to the candidate's registered Email ID for future reference.
• Upload passport size photograph (less than 1 MB) and all the required documents.
• Pay Online & Download Receipt.

TU Vellore B.Sc How To Apply?

1. Go to the VIT website and navigate to the page heading admissions

2. First of all, specify the desired program of B.Sc, complete the registration and create a login.

3. Complete an online application form and upload required documents 

4. Ease the process of payment of application fees through online means

5. Saved a copy of form in computer and keep a printed copy for future use

6. Resume waiting for VIT to shortlist candidates 

7. If shortlisted, then they must definitely undergo the admission procedures.

8. The students are supposed to provide some documents and pay some amount of money for confirmation of admission.

TU Vellore B.Tech Selection Criteria

1. Marks scored in the standard 12th or any other standard equivalent to that which the candidate passed.

2. Scored ranks in the national level engineering entrance examinations like JEE Main, JEE Advanced etc.

3. Whether the candidate is classified as general, OBC, SC, or ST

4. if any special rules were made for quota like NRI/PIO quota, sports quota, etc.

5. Number of seats that are offered in all the disciplines as well as in the different categories.

6. Other prohibition that may include state of eligibility, area of eligibility for state quota seats.

TU Vellore B.Tech How To Apply?

1. Registration: Visit the website of VIT and create an account by providing some basic information about yourself and your academic achievements. You will be allocated an application number of the unique kind.

2. Fill Application Form: Enter your details and complete the VITMEE application form after logging in with your ID and password. Upload necessary documents.

3. Pay Application Fee: Deposit the application fees through net banking / debit/ credit cards etc Payable @ Rs 1150/ for General category.

4. Select Exam Center: While filling the application to appear for the VITMEE exam, candidates are free to select their choice of examination center. They are taken in many of the cities across the country of India. 

5. Download Admit Card: After applying for the VITMEE, you can download the admit card by using the following details. 

6. Appear for VITMEE: Be present for the VIT Master’s Entrance Exam on the specific date and time assigned for your batch. It is a General Ability Test (GAT) that includes Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English questions.
