The University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad (UASD) provides Bachelors and Masters degree programs in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Science and Food Science, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation and Agribusiness Management, Biotechnology, Fisheries Science, etc The minimum marks required may vary according to the course. For, BSc Agriculture, candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects and minimum 50% marks in aggregate. The eligibility criteria for admission to Btech Agricultural Engineering include passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate. UASD also considers scores of national level entrance tests such as AIEEA of ICAR, KCET, COMEDK UGET, etc for its admissions into different programs as per merit basis.
It currently has approximately 24 undergraduate and postgraduate courses and streams in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Biotechnology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Fisheries Science, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management and many others. The admission process for both the UG and PG course for the 2023 academic year start around April – May 2023 and the particular dates will soon be updated on the university’s website. With regard to the BSc and BTech, admissions are done on merit scores in the qualifying examination in addition to ICAR AIEEA, KCET, COMEDK UGET and such other examinations are acknowledged as valid entrance tests for admission to the programmes of the university The Masters and Ph.D. are conducted through university conducted tests. The University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad (UASD) is a university located in Dharwad, Karnataka State, India which provides the academic programs in the field of agricultural sciences at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 7. Try to appear for the written test and interview that is set by the university. These have to be qualified for admission into Ph.D program.
8. Selection would be over by now, so check admission results flashed on the university website or on the notice board. After that, if offered admission, complete any other procedures necessary to join the learning institution.
