UPL University of Sustainable Technology [UPLUST] is a Private University in Anand Gujarat. UPLUST was founded in the year 2020 and it has been recognized from the UGC of India as well as from the Government of Gujarat. On this criterion of assessment the university has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a B+ Grade. One has to stay with the fact that UPLUST has been recently ranked in the NIRF Rankings 2023 of Indian Universities in 101-150 band.
Currently UPLUST has a diverse course portfolio that cuts across engineering, management, sciences, design, law and the liberal arts. Some of the most sought after courses currently are B.Tech, MBA, and five year integrated law programs, B.Des. and B.Sc. especially in younger and developing fields such as data science and climate science. The undergraduate courses in the IBS Ahmedabad require students to sit for national level examinations such as JEE Mains and GUJCET for admission while the postgraduate courses require exams score in CAT/MAT/XAT besides graduation. It has released exams dates for various programs for the admission in the 2024 academic year and the admission process is usually opened in January.
The university has an effective placement cell through which the students can find internships and their final placements in all the programs offered in the university. Many reputed companies in the field of IT, finance, consulting etc. from all sectors visits the campus for placement providing profiles in technology, consulting, finance etc. Some major recruiters include Infosys, HDFC Bank, TCS, Reliance, Adani Group, Bosch, Asian Paints etc. The maximum salary offered in 2022 was 37 LPA while the median salary was 7.2 LPA. The University Witnessed campus drives for the eligible students last year where more than 85% of the students were placed. The placement cell also provides internships in major corporates and organizations, start-ups and in government sector.

1. It is mandatory for the candidates to pass 10 + 2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board and the minimum marks required for the examination differs for each program.
2. For B.Tech courses, Physics, chemistry, and mathematics should be the subjects taken in 10+2 for the admission of the candidate. The candidate should have secured at least 45% to 65% in aggregate and minimum marks required for different specialization may vary.
3. In case of BBA and BA programs, percentage of 10+2 required varies from 40 to 50 percent depending on the stream of the course. No specific subject requirements.
4. M.Tech course is offered after passing BTech/BE with minimum 50% aggregate marks depending on discipline but specializing in the relevant stream. GATE qualification preferred.
5. In case of MBA program, the basic eligibility criteria would be graduation degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks. Standardized entrance examinations are required for passing.
6. The candidates must possess 10+2 certificate from any recognized university and approved by AIU moreover, TOEFL/IELTS scores for UG and PG admission.
