Utkal University of Culture Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Must have passed 10+2 exam in any stream for science/arts/commerce etc. as per the requirement of the concerned course.
2. Since for PG programs, one needs to have a bachelor’s degree, it is mandatory to have minimum percentage as mentioned below.
3. Government rule of reservation and accommodation as per the rules of SC, ST, OBC, and other categories including PwD.
4. Special provisions may apply to some courses in terms of age restrictions. Check notification.
5. May require qualifying the Common Entrance Test conducted by the university on and may attract a fee for the exercise.
6. Some of the extra considerations include, interviews, aptitude tests for some courses.

Utkal University of Culture is dedicated towards the field of arts, culture and literature, especially Indian. Since most of the Utkal University programs are academic oriented, employment opportunities through campus placement have been modest. Approximately the 60% of the students from the stream of courses like Tourism and Hospitality Management or Journalism and Mass Communication. were able to grab placements in the recent times. Many companies have visited the campus for the recruitment drive including Odisha Tourism, Odisha Livelihoods Mission, News18 Odia, Eastern media, Kalinga TV.
