Vivekananda Global University is a Non-profit university situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. VGU was established in 2012, which is been accredited by UGC and approved by AICTE. It has recently been accredited with grade ‘A’ by the National Association of Accreditation of Universities (NAAC) in the year 2022. According to the NIRF rankings of 2023, VGU is placed at the 95th position with reference to universities in India.
A wide range of programs are taught across disciplines for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in the university. Some of the degree courses offered by VGU are B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, B.Sc etc.This article aims to provide information regarding the admission process for MBA, MCA, M.Tech, and Ph.D. courses for the academic session of 2024 which will begin in the year 2023. The entrance tests will be held in April and May 2023 and the result will be announced in the second week of June 2023. Classes are to be commenced for new batches by the last week of July of 2023. Some of the specific current batch exam dates are – mid sem exams are in October of the year 2023, end sem exams are in March April in the year 2024.
Another key strength that has been identified at VGU is that it has a good record in placing its graduating students via campus placements. The approximately 218 organizations visit VGU for placement services every year. Some of the leading companies that recruit freshers are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, and Accenture and several other companies. Placement statistics reveal that more than 85% of the students from the eligible list got placement in reputed multi-national companies with a good salary package of Rs. 4-8 Lacs for undergraduate and Rs. 8-12 Lacs for postgraduate programs. There is no maximum salary offered in the VGU placements 2022 and the highest salary that was provided to the students was 15 LPA. VGU has a fully functional Training &Placement division to help students gain suitable employability skills and to connect with suitable employers.

Vivekananda Global University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Bachelor's degree programs: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examinations of any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in a relevant stream.
2. Master's degree programs: A candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related specialization with at least a 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognized University.
3. Doctoral degree programs: They should possess a master’s degree in the relevant field with not less than 55% marks in the aggregate from a recognized University. Research proposal required.
4. Professional degree programs: Candidates should have completed their Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university obtaining at least 50% of the total marks. Entrance test required.
5. Diploma programs: Those who have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board and in the relevant stream is eligible for the post. Applicable work experience could be taken into account.

Vivekananda Global University has a functional placement cell through which companies can easily absorb the graduates of the University. Our Institute achieved a placement record with more than 80% of the eligible students getting placed in the last year. Leading IT firms that offered several positions were Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture and Cognizant recruited students from engineering and management departments. The maximum salary offered was Rs 18,000/- per month offered by Microsoft and the minimum and maximum salary offered were between Rs 4, 00,000/- to Rs 6,00,000/- per annum in our college. Some other top recruiters were capgemini, tech mahindra, L&T infotech and flipkart. The continuous high rankings are attributed to the fact that in Vivekananda Institute, the major concern is to produce graduates fit for the market through practical and internship training and preparing students in communications, analysis, and technical skills required by the employers.
