It is a government college that offers degree courses for undergraduate students under the arts, science, and commerce streams. The important subjects in the art stream include English, Bangladesh, History, Politics, and Education. Candidates who have successfully passed the higher secondary examination with at least 45% marks for general category and at least 40% for SC/ST/OBC/ DNTs applicants are eligible for admission to the BA program. As qualifying examinations pass HS(+2) or equivalent are acceptable.
Subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Botany are taught under the BSc degrees by the science departments. Students must have passed class 12th with PCB or PCM with 50% for general and 40% for SC/ ST/ OBC categories. The qualifying exams that are accepted and recognized are the HS(+2) or equivalent board exams with Science subjects.
Commerce and management departments have BCom and BBA as their programs. For securing admission, one must not score more than 45% in class 12th for general candidates and less than 40% for candidates of reserved seats. Qualifying examinations include: HS(+2) or its equivalent.

1. Try to look for the college admission process or you can physically visit the college where you want to apply to find out from the college when the admission process opens and the application deadline. The deadlines for admissions are in the months of May-June every year.
2. Application forms are provided once the admission process starts from the college office or from the college website. It is normal to pay a small fee to obtain the application form.
3. It is recommendable to read the admission requirements and the list of required documents in order to avoid mistakes when filling the form. The average entry requirement for B.com is having completed class 12th in the commerce stream.
4. Please complete the application form and enclose certified copies of the documentation required as per the form. This consists of class 12th mark sheet ,School leaving certificate, Character certificate, etc.
5. Keep the duplicate copy of the admission form and the college prospectus safely and send the form via post with necessary admission fees (mentioned on college website or form) within the specified time to the office of the college.
