The College of Engineering Kolhapur is a part of the Kolhapur Institute of Technology and is dedicated to providing undergraduate engineering education in different streams. The Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering departments have BTech, 4-years programs and students have option following national level examination JEE Main, MHT-CET, and KCET. However, the candidates who had appeared in MHT-CET and KCET can apply directly although the cut off scores differ year of examination depending upon the number of applicants. The basic requirement for admission to such BTech programs is passing Class 12th in the PCM stream and securing a minimum aggregate of 50%.
These MTech courses, span for 2 years and the eligibility is a BE/BTech degree in the relevant branch and qualifyin GATE. In addition to these technical departments it offers programmes in the field of Applied Sciences, Management, and Pharmacy disciplines. The streams that are taught at the undergraduate level in CoEK include computers, Information Technology electronics and telecommunication civil, mechanical chemical and bio technology. For the admission process of the batch of 2024, most of the National & state level Entrance Examinations such as JEE Main, GATE, MHT-CET, etc are usually held from February to June of 2023. The counselling and admission process take place after the declaration of the result in June-September, through the Central Admission Process (CAP) rounds and the institute level rounds. All new students are likely to be admitted to their respective faculties for the new academic year from the second week of September 2024 across all programs.
1. As for the admission procedure, it is necessary to note that the College of Engineering Kolhapur, which is a part of KIT, accepts students via an application process that begins in April every year.

5. Students require to register themselves in order to obtain necessary details for login. With those credentials, they can complete and submit online the admission application form by inputting specific information and documents.
6. For offline application, students can also dowload the application form from the college admission office by depositing the necessary fee or it can be obtained from the admission office of the college by paying the necessary fee or the form can be downloaded from the college website and can be posted to the admission office along with other necessary documents and the admission fee.
7. The other documents needed when filling the application form are; 10 and 12th standard marks statements, school leaving certificate and photographs.
