In Bangalore, Mount Carmel College has various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Applications, Business Administration, and Management. Some include Departments of Computer Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, English, and Economics among others. For B.Sc programs, they should have passed 12th standard in science section with not less than 50% marks. Just like the B.A and B.Com programs, the candidates need to have passed their twelfth standard in any stream with the same minimum marks. The most main entrance tests which can be considered are KCET, COMED-K, NATA, and CUET depending on the course. While others to also allow students on the basis of the marks obtained in the PU Board examinations.
The college offers both UG and PG courses which includes B.Sc in basic sciences, computer science, fashion design; B.A in languages, journalism; B.Com in accounting, finance, analytics; B.B.A; B.C.A; M.Sc in biotech, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, biochemistry, data analytics; M.Com, M.A and M.B.A. The key entrance exam dates for UG programs in 2024 are: KCET 2024 has been conducted on April 18th to 20th, NATA 2024 date is yet to be announced and CUET UG 2024 is scheduled from May 21st to May 31st . Students pursing PG programs will sit for their exams during the period of May-July 2024. These admissions are made through the house of institute level counselling depending upon the merit score of the entrance examination. The registration for admission process will begin in the month of May for UG programs and in July for PG programs in the year 2024.
