The eligibility of students in various courses depends on the department they belong to. Science streams like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Computer Science etc. candidate should have minimum 50% marks in 12th Science stream from a recognized University with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths. Degree programmes such as BSc in Economics, statistics among others takes any student from any of the above mentioned faculties who have a minimum of a 45% aggregate in their 12th standard. The Commerce and Management departments offering the following degree programs include BCom, BBA, BCA and the admission requirements are a pass in 12th standard from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks. CET, MHT CET, JEE, NEET type of exams are considered valid for admission.
The college conducts courses in streams including B.Sc, M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Computer Science, B.Com, M.Com, B.B.A, M.B.A, B.A in Economics, English, Psychology, B.C.A, M.C.A, etc. The next admissions are expected to commence in the academic year starting around April 2023 for year 2024. Other major exams including CET, JEE, MHCET, NEET etc will be held between February May 2023. In terms of the registration, the participating institutes such as Sinhgad College initiates the registration process usually after the result declaration which usually happens around the end of may every year. Merit in the qualifying examination and/ or entrance tests as well as the availability of seats are other ways through which admission is given. Actually the admission process includes the online registration at the college portal, submission of documents, fees payment and admission confirmation. The classes, generally, start from the first week of August.
