Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering Ernakulam provides B.E. programmes in two broad fields of engineering namely Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering in eight branches of Engineering including Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering and Chemical Engineering. The pass in 10+2 examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a cumulative percentage of 45% in the above mentioned subjects are mandatory for admission in all the UG streams.
The undergraduate courses being taught in engineering fields across the 8 departments include B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering B. Tech Information Technology B. Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B. Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, B. Tech Mechanical Engineering B. Tech Civil Engineering B. Tech Automobile Engineering and B. Tech Chemical Engineering. The dates for KEAM 2024 are in the 3rd week of April, JEE Main has two attempt: The first attempt is in the 3rd week of January and the second attempt is in the 1st week of April. It is expected that GATE 2024 will take place in the first week of February. This includes the qualifying in one of the entrance exams and going through the counselling session and filling the options for the participating Institutes and their branches. It further include the marks obtained in the entrance examination and the marks secured in 10+2 examination with a minimum percentage. The distribution of seats takes place according to the preferences, ranks secured by the candidates, and the seats available in each round of counselling.
