This course takes 3 years in which various issues are studied including biochemistry, genetics, ecology, evolution, plant and animal classification, physiology, cell and molecular biology. The teaching-learning includes the classroom theories as well as the practical laboratory experience. The programme will enable the students to pursue their higher studies and enhance their knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The admission process for B.Sc. course requires passing in one of the following national level entrance examination.
