The Master of Arts (MA) in Broadcast Journalism is a postgraduate program that aims at equipping the students with the necessary knowledge in different fields of broadcast journalism. This course takes 2 years to complete and offers academic knowledge together with hands on experience in print media, television, radio, and online Journalism. In order to achieve these goals, the curriculum comprises of reporting, editing, media law and ethics, television and radio production and use of new media.

Some of the entrance exams which are acceptable for admission to MA in Broadcast Journalism include: National level examinations that are popular are UGC NET, CSIR NET in Journalism as well as Mass Communication. Some of the state and university level tests are TANCET, Kerala University Entrance test, Lucknow University Entrance for selection of the candidates.

MA Broadcast Journalism Course Eligibility 2024

1. An accredited Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, communications or any relevant field with a recommended GPA requirement.
