M.Sc (Mass Communication) is a postgraduate master’s degree program designed to equip the students with knowledge in mass media and its impact on society. This is a 2-year full time course that prepares students in different mass communication media such as print, radio, television, new media. Students are taught theoretical concepts along with their internships at media organizations during summer vacations. The subjects that are taught in the program include Media Laws and Ethics, Media Research, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism.
The entrance examination for admission to the M.Sc (Mass Communication) course include CAT, MAT, GMAT, AMU, CUCET, BHU PET, JNUEE, IPU CET MAJMC, DU JAT, State level. Other institutes provide direct admission based on the marks obtained in graduation. Some of the colleges also have their own entrance examinations as well. Candidates having work experience in media have added advantage in getting admission in this course.

1. Postgraduate in any field with at least 50% in aggregate from recognized university.
