The Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resource Management also known as Ph.D. is a postgraduate academic degree that deals with higher-level research and study in Human Resource Management. Accepted national-level management entrance tests for admission are UGC NET Management including HR, CSIR UGC NET Social Science including Management, GATE Statistics, ICAR AIEEA PG. Ph.D. (Human Resource Management) Course Eligibility 2024

1. Candidates with a Master’s degree in business administration MBA, human resource management or any other relevant field from any recognized university with minimum of 55% marks. 

2. Satisfy an entrance test such as UGC NET, GATE or any other test that may be conducted by a university/institute. There are some institutes which honour direct admission on the basis of merit.

3. A short and concise research prospectus of the intended doctoral study in terms of the area of interest and the extent of the research. 

4. Institute’s preferred experience: Most of the institutes expect the candidates to possess the previous work experience in the human resource domain of 2-  3 years. 

5. Intensive quantitative and qualitative research, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

6. Preliminary approval for conducting personal interviews to gauge research potential and subject knowledge. Recommendation letters also have weightage.
