The Doctor of Philosophy in Human Resource Management also known as Ph.D. is a postgraduate academic degree that deals with higher-level research and study in Human Resource Management. Accepted national-level management entrance tests for admission are UGC NET Management including HR, CSIR UGC NET Social Science including Management, GATE Statistics, ICAR AIEEA PG. Passing these test makes the candidates qualify for admission in addition to issue such as the relevant Master’s degree, research proposal experience etc. University conducted tests and interviews also play a role for the admission process to select the most qualified candidates for the few available program slots.

3. A short and concise research prospectus of the intended doctoral study in terms of the area of interest and the extent of the research.
4. Institute’s preferred experience: Most of the institutes expect the candidates to possess the previous work experience in the human resource domain of 2- 3 years.
5. Intensive quantitative and qualitative research, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Preliminary approval for conducting personal interviews to gauge research potential and subject knowledge. Recommendation letters also have weightage.
