B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, also known as BSA Crescent Institute, is a Private Deemed University in Chennai, India, at Vandalur. It was founded in 1984, UGC recognized it since 2004 and NAAC accredited the university in the year 2022 with ‘A’ Grade. BSA Crescent Institute secured its position at rank 101-150 in the NIRF University ranking of India in year 2023 and rank 51 in engineering colleges.
It also has more than 30 undergraduate, postgraduate, and research courses in fields such as engineering, technology, management, architecture and other fields. Some of the well known courses offered include B.Tech in CSE, ECE, mechanical, civil, B.arch, MBA, MCA, etc. As for the admission, it usually begins in April every year. For B.Tech programs, the students need to qualify either TNEA counselling or BSAUEEE entrance exam conducted by the institute along with the counselling process. The semester exams take place in Nov-Dec and April-May every year normally.
