The Cluster University of Srinagar in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir was established in 2016 to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different fields. Notably, there is a difference in the admission requirements based on the course taken. B.Sc programs Such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics & Statistics requires the candidate to pass 12th standard with minimum of 50% marks in respective subjects. Institutes that offer B.A in English, Economics, Sociology for instance admitting students who have passed 12th standard in any group. To get admissions in B.Com program one must have passed 12th commerce with minimum 50% aggregate marks. The admission criteria include the qualifying examination like J&K CET or CUET or the entrance examination.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Identification Documents: Students have to produce other forms of identification such as the Aadhaar card, voter ID card, or a driver’s license to prove their identity and to confirm their right to attend the institution.
2. 10th Marksheet & Passing Certificate: The candidates are required to attach their class 10th mark sheet along with the passing certificate as it forms the first and foremost requirement of the eligibility criteria.
3. 12th Marksheet & Passing Certificate: Students should also produce their qualifying exam which is the class 12th marksheet and passing certificate to check whether they meet the requirement.
4. Migration/Transfer Certificate: Candidates who passed qualifying examination from any other board other than the J&K state board are required to submit the migration or transfer certificate of the said board.
5. Recent Photographs: About four to five photos of the candidate in passport size are needed to be attached to the admission form and student identification card after admission.
6. Caste Certificate (if applicable): The SC/ST/OBC students desiring to apply for admission under this quota are required to attach the attested caste certificate in the name of the student.
1. See the admission requirements, the minimum pass mark on the qualifying examination and the subjects required for the B.Sc. program of your choice.
2. You are required to fill the form and pay any fees that may be demanded before application deadline, either online or offline.
3. If you have been shortlisted, sit for the entrance examination that the university conducts with other candidates.
4. Counseling – In this case, a candidate can check merit list whenever it is released to determine if he or she has been selected for counseling depending on the scores obtained and vacancies available.
5. As planned attend a counseling session and provide the documents and subject and college of choice.
6. If one is given a seat, then they should pay fees and register to the programme to be in accordance with the set date.

1. Eligibility – Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Minimum 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination (55% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates).
2. Online application - Interested candidates can fill the online application form on the university’s official page: cus.ac.in. The applicants should make the payments for the application fees online.
3. Appear for CUSAT – Pass in the Common University Entrance Test conducted by the CUS Srinagar.
4. Take up counseling – If you do qualify for counseling, go for it according to your CUSAT score and rank. Choose the specialisation in B.Tech that you want.
5. Document verification – All the candidates have to produce original +2 certificates and mark sheets for document verification.
6. Cs admin – Pay admission and semester fees to get admitted into the B.Tech program and be enrolled at the CUS Srinagar.
