The Faculty of Legal Sciences at Shoolini University Solan has various programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, in disciplines of BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, and LLM. The requirements are different for each course – for BA LLB, the candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent in any discipline with at least 45% marks in aggregate. The minimum qualification needed to pursue BBA LLB and BCom LLB is 12th or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. CBSE, ICSE, States Boards, NIOS, and International Baccalaureate are the qualifying examinations that are accepted. The postgraduate LLM program demands a 3-year/ 5-year LLB degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.
The Faculty provides the 5-year integrated law under graduation courses like BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB and it also provides 2-year post-graduation LLM course. It is also important to note that the admission forms for the application to be offered a place in the 2024 academic year will be out in January 2024. The candidates who are enthusiastic in applying for this opportunity can apply either in online or in offline mode before the last date of application in May 2024. Accepted national level tests would be CLAT, LSAT, AILET and others; For final selection the candidate would be required to take a University written test followed by an interview. The odd semester examination is conducted in November-December and the even semester examinations are held in April-May each year. The results are announced preferably within a month after completion of final term examinations. Students who have been offered admission are required to accept the offer by undertaking the document verification and payment of fees processes.
