More About Galgotias University: The Galgotias University is located in Greater Noida and provides the options of several courses in different fields. In the engineering stream, it offers BTech degree in computer Science & IT, Electronics & communications, Mechanical & civil engineering to name but a few. The admission standard for these Btech programmes include students who passed their class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics and has scored not less than 60% for the general category and 55% for the reserved category. Other test scores of entrance exams like JEE Mains, UPSEE, GATE scores etc., are also accepted. 

The management stream has BBA, MBA and integrated MBA with major specializations such as Marketing, Finance, HR, Business Analytics etc The eligibility to take admission in these BBA/MBA programs is a bachelor’s/graduation degree with minimum 50% marks. The registration for the admission test in different undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by Galgotias University for the academic year 2024-25 will start in February 2023. These are JEE Mains, GATE, CAT, CLAT, UPSEE and other national as well as the State level entrance examinations. For off line admission, one has to physically visit the university along with all the required documents and collect the application form from the admission department after paying the fee for the same. In this regard, you are required to complete the necessary fields and enclose the attested copies of your qualification, mark sheets, and other relevant testimonials. GU Greater Noida B.Tech Admission 2024

- It will be through the UPSEE exam conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU Lucknow). To get into this university, you’ll have to sit for UPSEE, an exam which must be applied for by March and taken between April and May.

- As per your and your preferences, and your score in UPSEE, the seat will be allotted after June through counseling. 

- The total intake capacity of B.Tech students in GBU is around 180 and the subjects offered are Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical etc.

- The criteria of eligibility is to pass 12 standard with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or any other equivalent recognized examination with minimum marks 45% (40% for SC/ST category).

- The eligibility criteria for admissions include the scores obtained in UPSEE, scores of class XII, reservation policy based on category, norms in accordance with UP state government, etc.

- To be precise, during document verification you will have to pay the charges relating to admission/counseling fee. Following is the fee structure of GBU for BTech program: Semester fees around ?45,000-?55,000 per semester.

GU Greater Noida B.Tech Selection Criteria

- The admission is offered through JEE Main/UPSEE score or through the institution’s own entrance test - GEEE.

- To get an admission through JEE Main, one must have secured at least 75% marks in aggregate in their respective Class 12th or any equivalent exam.

- For UPSEE, the candidate must have minimum 50% marks in class 12th or any other equivalent exam for general category and for Other Backward Caste (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) the minimum percentage required is 45%.

- To qualify for admission via GEEE, one has to sit for Class 12th or equivalent with subjects in physics chemistry and mathematics.

- Your Class 12 th percentage along with the entrance exam scores is taken into consideration

- They also look at your performance in extra curricular activities with some consideration given. 

- The remaining seats may be filled through only the marks obtained in Class 12th in case of availability of seats.

- The cutoffs and rankings are relative and are set according to gender, state of eligibility, NRI and so on.
