To this end, the following is a breakdown of the eligibility criteria for each program: For instance, to pursue the BTech in Engineering, the candidates should have Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in their 10+2 with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or through national level tests as JEE Main. For BCA, applicants must complete 10+2 with Mathematics or any other Math related subject and have 50% aggregate. BBA and Law courses will be held for a student having 10+2 from any stream with 50% average marks. The accepted examinations across all the programs are UPSEE, JEE main, UPTU, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NCHMCT JEE, CLAT, LSAT, etc.
The procedure of admission to enroll in 2024 batch programs mean that the candidates have to apply both for the course and the exams they opted for when the university provides notification for the same. The courses offered in different disciplines for 2024 admission include: BTech and MTech in all departments, BBA/MBA in specializations, BA/MA in mass communication, English, Economics, BCAMCA, LLB, B.COM/M.COM and B.ED/M.Ed, BHMCT/MHMCT, B.Design, BSc/MSc all departments and many others. Regarding Graphic Era for the year 2024, important exam dates would be released in late 2023 for both university and other entrance tests. Some of the actual and precise steps that are involved in the admission process include online registration, payment of fees, taking an entrance test if applicable, display of merit list, document verification, and finally confirmation of enrolment. This criteria may vary with the program and stream that each candidate has chosen.
The procedures for online application are as follows: For online application, please visit the website of the university at www.gehu.ac.in and under the ‘Admissions’ link. You will find the desired program under the ‘Programs Offered’ section, and by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button next to it. Complete the online application form and input all the necessary information such as personal information, academic records, course selection etc. The application also asks for scanned documents such as passport-sized photograph, signature, attested copies of certificates etc. in the correct size and format. Click on the ‘Application form’ link and complete the application fee payment through net banking/ debit card/ credit card. Save the final submitted form and other documents needed for future use by downloading and using the print option.
To complete it off line, go to a university and visit the admissions office to get an application form. Complete it, enclose the relevant documents, and provide notarized copies of them. Enclose with the completed form the application fee through demand draft or cash at the counter of admission office. After submission, you will be given an acknowledgement slip, which you are required to sign. You can check the status of your application on the university’s portals or get in touch with the university for the update. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. It is an undergraduate course offered by many universities and admission to the B.Tech programme is given only through the entrance examination like JEE Main for particular state, UPTU exam, UKSEE etc., one has to apply and pass in above mentioned exam for getting admission in this programme.
2. It also has the 12th board percentage basis for the admission for certain categories of candidates. General graduation requirement is 60-65% in 12th boards of education or any equivalent examination.
3. For admissions that are merit based on 12th percentage, the institute takes into account performance in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the benchmark for the selection process. A certain percentage of weightage may be also assigned for other subjects.
4. The candidates have to satisfy criteria related to age, domicile, the combination of subjects passed in qualifying examinations or 12th standard, and other such norms besides qualifying examinations or their 12th standard marks.
5. The SC ST OBC quotas are practiced and there are separate seats for different categories as per the guidelines of the government. In some cases, preferences may be accorded to female aspirants and even for the candidates who are the migrants from the state of Kashmir.
