IIIT Kalyani or Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani is an institute situated in West Bengal in the city of Kalyani. It proffers numerous B.Tech and M.Tech programmes in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Computational Biology. The candidates who wish to get admission in the 4-year B.Tech program must pass and possess a valid score in JEE Main or WBJEE and have scored at least 75% in Class 12th from any recognized board. The streams do have a variation in the eligibility criteria which are as follows. In order to apply for CSE and ECE one has to have Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology, Mathematics in their 12th standard whereas for AI&DS Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics is mandatory.

6. Application fee should be paid online or send a demand draft in case of applying for the exam offline.
7. Always ensure to print and keep a hardcopy of the application form after a successful submission of the form.
The documents required at the time of application and counseling are as follows:
1. Get the procedure of applying for the UG/PG programs based on the institute norms and qualifying standards for various courses, exams.
2. Complete and submit it online or offline before the specified date of application towards the mentioned program.
3. Take JEE Mains, GATE, etc if they have been conducted at national/state level.
4. Should the candidate make it to the shortlist he/she should submit the following documents and make the necessary admission fee payments in the following dates.
5. Go for the counseling session according to the choice, ranks, and availability of seats ranked by students.
6. Last of all, choose the desired program/branch and if the candidate has got a seat, go through the admission process.
7. Present yourself personally at the institute on the set dates for document verification and admission process to confirm admission.
