Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal is one of the prominent universities in Andhra Pradesh that offers number of health science courses under various disciplines. The MBBS and BDS programmes need the students to have passed the 12th grade examination each with 50 percent marks each in physics, chemistry and biology. It is mandatory that students need to get qualify in the NEET exam for their admissions. The BAMS, BHMS and BUMS programs also needs 12th standard pass qualification and 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology groups and NEET. The B.Pharm course admits students who must have completed their 12th standard examination with physics chemistry maths or biology and GPAT. The nursing programs such as Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc), Master of Science in nursing (M.Sc) and General Nursing and midwifery (GNM) for 12th passed students and candidates have to appear the entrance exam like Andhra University B.Sc Nursing Entrance Test to take admission. The courses like BPT, BOT, B.Sc MLS which comes under paramedical sciences require the student to have passed 12th standard exam with the subjects physics, chemistry, biology and entrance examination.

Kaloji narayana Rao University of health Sciences, Warangal invites application for the course offered to the various under graduate and post graduate level in Medical dental Nursing Pharmacy and Allied health sciences disciplines. Prospective students can apply either online or offline through the official web page at www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in.
The online application portal is used to register and complete an application form through entry of personal and academic information. Photographs, signatures, birth certificate, marksheets etc. documents can also be uploaded in the form of scanned copies.

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal has various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical and related fields. The BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) program admits students who have completed their class 12 with at least 50% in Physics Chemistry and Biology. The BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) program admits students who want to pursue physiotherapy after passing their Class 12 exam with 50% marks in the PCBE/PCB stream. The B.Sc. Nursing program admits learners who offer PCB/PCMB with 45% in Class 12 board and GNM Qualified candidates. The BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy) does not prescribe any specific marks for Physics, Chemistry & Biology in Class 12, but the candidates need to secure 50% to get admission. The program to be shortlisted for the B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) program requires the candidate to have a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology. It is noteworthy that the BMLT program admits students who want to pursue an M.B.B.S with minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics in their Class 12 exam.

The University of Health Sciences in Warangal recognized as Kaloji Narayana Rao is also involved in the offer of Ph.D. programs in the faculty of Pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, medical lab technology, and public health. The minimum qualifications for the eligibility of the candidates are also similar for all the departments and the candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned specialty with not less than 55% overall marks. Eligible tests for admissions through the entrance test in various PhD courses are UGC NET, GPAT, PGECET and University entrance test. Thus, the Pharmacy PhD specifically requires GPAT or PGECET passed candidates. There are additional requirements which are acceptable for particular courses for example, UGC NET or any related tests. Requirements for Nursing PhD include MPhil/PG degree in Nursing and the programme accepts UGC NET exams. The Medical Lab Technology PhD program must have MSc MLT degrees and accepts university entrance or state level examinations.
